About this asset

Sculpted with curved smoked glass rods, this modern pendant chandelier 3ds Max model delivers refined ambient lighting for luxury interior scenes. This decorative luminaire features a hemispherical basket profile formed by sweeping tubular glass elements nested within a circular metal frame. Arranged vertically along the upper rim, individual collars secure each curved fluted rod as it sweeps downward to an interlocked base. A subtle outer metal hoop cradles the lower curvature, enhancing structural rhythm and visual depth. Suspended from an articulated chain and central suspension cable, the pendant combines highly reflective polished chrome hardware with translucent smoked glass tubes to refract and diffuse internal illumination cleanly across surrounding surfaces.

The download is a 7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Supplied as a native 3ds Max asset, the model is prepared for immediate merging into production scenes. The geometry is grouped for straightforward repositioning, allowing visualisers to adjust suspension height or cable length against varying floor-to-ceiling dimensions. Shader assignments separate the metallic canopy and hardware from the refractive glass components, simplifying material overrides and custom light source placement inside the shade.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, formal dining tables, and boutique hospitality foyers, this statement ceiling light serves as a striking visual focal point. Its sculptural form complements contemporary marble tables, low-profile lounge seating, and architectural coffered ceilings. Interior designers and archviz artists can incorporate this feature fixture when detailing penthouses, hotel suites, or upscale reception lounges requiring sophisticated accent illumination.
