Contemporary L-Shaped Kitchen Scene with Integrated Dining Island

This contemporary L-shaped kitchen scene in SketchUp features an integrated dining island, concrete-effect cabinetry, and vibrant yellow shelving. The layout comprises an L-shaped kitchen unit combined with a functional dining island that extends from the main counter. The aesthetic balances industrial-style concrete-effect cladding with warm timber-finish cabinetry and a striking, bright yellow open-shelving unit. Included in this scene are integrated appliances, a dark sink basin, matte black hardware, and a set of crimson-toned dining chairs. The design incorporates overhead pendant lighting, dedicated wine storage, and glass-fronted cabinets. Every element is arranged to optimise workflow, featuring a mix of closed storage and open display areas for decorative accessories and kitchen essentials.

The download is a 139 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for efficient placement and scaling within a larger architectural floor plan. Users can easily adjust materials or swap out individual fixtures like the chairs or lighting pendants to suit specific project requirements. The scene is set up for quick integration, with textures and materials mapped to standard faces, enabling designers to apply custom lighting setups or render engine overrides for high-quality visualisation outputs during the design development phase.
