About this asset

Sculpted as an undulating canopy, this contemporary chandelier 3ds Max model features hundreds of tiered gold and silver fluted pendants. The fixture takes the form of a sweeping, aerodynamic wave suspended horizontally in space. Individual faceted or fluted segments assemble into an organic gradient, transitioning smoothly from warm polished gold tones at the dense core to mirror-polished silver reflections along the outer crests. Each suspended component catches specular highlights to produce a shimmering volumetric volume without a heavy solid mass. Its low, spreading profile emphasizes horizontal dynamic flow, creating a sculptural ceiling canopy that functions equally as ambient statement lighting and three-dimensional architectural art.

The download is a 44 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Supplied as a native 3ds Max file, the geometry imports cleanly into master scene files. Users can merge the assembly directly into ceiling coordinates, adjusting suspension wire heights or pivot points to match custom finished ceiling levels. Materials can be tuned within the native material editor to calibrate metallic reflection glossiness, refractive dispersion, or subtle self-illumination for night render passes under studio or natural HDRI illumination.

Designed for grand statement spaces, this wave luminaire is suited for luxury hotel lobbies, double-height residential living rooms, reception atriums, and formal dining settings. It anchors seating areas or long dining tables beneath open ceilings. Visualisers searching for suspended light installations, parametric crystal chandeliers, sculptural ceiling canopies, or contemporary hospitality lighting can incorporate this piece seamlessly into interior visualisations and client concept presentations.
