Venetian Blinds Set

This SketchUp model provides a versatile collection of modern Venetian blinds, featuring various slat materials and finishes. This comprehensive collection includes thirteen distinct Venetian blind configurations, showcasing a range of widths and lengths suitable for diverse window sizes. The set features both horizontal metal-slat blinds, commonly used in commercial office environments, and natural wood-slat blinds that add warmth to residential interiors. Each unit includes a headrail, bottom rail, and integrated cord adjustment mechanisms. The finishes vary from neutral white and grey metallic tones to natural wood grains, providing options for both minimalist and contemporary design schemes. The blinds are represented in various states of extension, from fully closed to partially retracted, offering flexible placement.

The download is a 106 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 13 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these blinds are organised as individual components, allowing for easy selection and placement within your model. Users can scale the height of the blinds to fit specific window frames by adjusting the bottom rail component. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily replaced or edited within the materials tray to match project-specific colour palettes. For high-quality visualisations, ensure the blinds are placed flush against the inner frame of the window assembly for a realistic, integrated appearance.
