About this asset

This contemporary floor lamp 3ds Max model features a crisp white rectangular shade suspended from a dark metal stem on a tiered box pedestal. The luminaire showcases an upright, architectural silhouette anchored by a substantial square plinth base. A tiered pedestal block in deep walnut-toned wood and bronze hardware provides visual weight and structural grounding. Rising from the centre, a slender rectangular dark metal post extends upward to support an angled hanging bracket. A soft white fabric shade with rounded rectangular contours hangs beneath the arm, diffusing light downward and outward. Crisp geometry meets refined transitional detailing, creating a balanced fixture with subtle contrast between the dark metallic hardware, rich base, and luminous pale shade.

The download is a 4.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Supplied as a native 3ds Max asset, the model is prepared for straightforward merging into interior visualisations. The luminaire can be placed directly onto finished floor surfaces alongside seating or desks. Geometry is organized into logical elements, allowing visualisers to assign custom photometric light sources within the shade enclosure. Materials and shaded surfaces can be adjusted to match project-specific render engine requirements or customized with warm translucency for evening scenes.

Ideal for high-end residential, boutique hospitality, and executive office schemes, this standing luminaire suits living rooms, private library corners, hotel suites, and executive lounges. Position it beside a deep armchair, adjacent to a lounge sofa, or behind a study desk to provide focused task and accent lighting. Visualisers and interior architects frequently search for this piece as an architectural floor lamp, transitional reading light, box base luminaire, or hospitality standing lamp.
