Classic Gold Brass Wall Sconce with Pleated Shade

Classic wall sconce SketchUp model details an ornate cast-brass scroll arm, decorative carved backplate, and a white pleated tapered shade. The fixture is composed of an elliptical wall canopy trimmed with relief bead-and-leaf detailing, transitioning into a sweeping acanthus-inspired S-scroll bracket. At the terminus, a perforated filigree bobeche supports a vertical candle sleeve housing a standard lamp socket. Overhead sits a finely pleated conical lampshade in crisp off-white, casting balanced upward and downward ambient illumination. Polished yellow-gold metallic plating covers all cast-metal ornamentation, creating crisp specular highlights that contrast directly against the soft, translucent texture of the accordion fabric diffuser.

The download is a 17.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Configured for straightforward placement in SketchUp, the component aligns flush to vertical interior wall surfaces via standard snapping points. Separate material IDs delineate the polished metal surfaces from the pleated shade, allowing easy material parameter tuning or two-sided translucent shader assignment in third-party rendering engines. Users can embed point lights or IES photometric data directly beneath the shade geometry for realistic nighttime lighting simulations.

Suited to high-end residential interiors, boutique hospitality suites, and heritage restorations, this luminaire provides accent lighting across classical dining rooms, grand hallways, vanity mirrors, and master bedroom headboards. It pairs seamlessly with wainscoting, ornate mouldings, and traditional brass ironmongery. Specifiers and visualisers frequently source this asset when designing traditional interior lighting schemes, French provincial bedrooms, neoclassical corridors, and luxury hotel guestroom elevations.
