About this asset

This tropical-style ceiling fan SketchUp model features five leaf-shaped wooden blades and a clean white motor housing for interiors. This ceiling fan features a distinctive organic aesthetic, characterised by five large, leaf-shaped blades finished in a natural wood grain texture. The central motor housing is finished in a matte white, providing a crisp contrast to the timber tones of the blades. A slender white downrod connects the fan to a simple circular canopy, creating a balanced, lightweight silhouette. The design avoids unnecessary ornamentation, focusing on the silhouette of the blades to evoke a relaxed, coastal or tropical atmosphere suitable for bedrooms, living areas, or covered outdoor porches where airflow and style are equally prioritised.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and orientation. Users should ensure the component is placed on the correct layer or tag to manage visibility during the modelling process. The material textures are applied to the faces; these can be adjusted or swapped using the paint bucket tool to better match specific project palettes. When integrating into a scene, verify the downrod length matches the ceiling height to ensure the fan sits at the appropriate clearance from the floor.

This fan is ideal for residential projects, particularly in bedrooms, living rooms, or sun-drenched conservatories where a relaxed, resort-style aesthetic is desired. It also functions well in hospitality settings like boutique hotels or cafe terraces. Architects and interior designers might search for this when specifying fixtures for coastal homes or tropical-themed renovations. It pairs effectively with rattan furniture, linen soft furnishings, and light, neutral colour schemes, serving as a focal point that adds both functional ventilation and a decorative, organic element to the space.
