Contemporary Mixed Material Hanging Chair and Hammock Set

This comprehensive SketchUp collection features sixteen distinct hanging chairs, swing seats, and hammocks for outdoor spaces. This extensive set comprises a diverse array of suspension seating solutions designed for exterior environments. The collection includes various styles of hanging egg chairs, woven rattan pods, fabric-based swing seats, and traditional framed hammocks. Materials range from natural timber frames and woven rattan textures to durable outdoor fabrics and ropes. Each piece is designed with specific suspension hardware, including ceiling-mounted hooks and standalone timber stands. The set offers a variety of cushions, throws, and soft goods, providing a realistic representation of comfortable lounging arrangements suitable for terraces, balconies, and garden relaxation zones.

The download is a 116 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These SketchUp components are organised for efficient insertion into large-scale landscape or residential models. Users should manage these assets within a dedicated layer or tag to maintain viewport performance, especially when populating extensive outdoor scenes. The geometry is suitable for mid-range visualisations, where scaling and material mapping can be adjusted to match specific project requirements. Applying custom textures or adjusting the orientation of the suspension ropes allows for precise integration with existing architectural elements, such as pergolas, beams, or dedicated support structures.
