About this asset

This traditional freestanding bathtub 3ds Max model features a black exterior, white interior, and ornate brass clawfoot legs and fittings. Designed with a classic slipper silhouette, this freestanding bathtub showcases a high-contrast aesthetic with a deep black outer shell and a smooth white interior basin. A matching vintage-style exposed brass floor-mounted mixer tap with a handheld shower attachment is included, alongside a decorative brass wire caddy positioned across the rim. The plumbing fixtures, including the drain and overflow cover, are finished in a polished brass tone to maintain a cohesive, period-appropriate appearance throughout the set.

The download is a 28.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the tub body, legs, and brass hardware. Users can apply custom materials to the exterior shell to match specific bathroom schemes while maintaining the pre-configured brass shaders. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. When integrating into a project, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for precise floor alignment and check that the plumbing connections align with your bathroom floor drain.

This bathtub is ideal for period-inspired residential renovations, luxury hotel suites, or high-end spa interiors where a focal point is required. It pairs well with marble flooring, subway-tiled walls, and vintage-style vanity units. Professionals searching for 'freestanding clawfoot tub', 'vintage bathroom fixtures', or 'traditional slipper tub' will find this asset suitable for architectural visualisation projects. It serves as a key element in creating a sophisticated, timeless atmosphere, especially when complemented by classic wall sconces and decorative mirrors in a master bathroom suite.
