About this asset

This minimalist U-shaped kitchen unit for 3ds Max features a clean, multi-tonal palette of grey, beige, and natural wood finishes. The assembly comprises a U-shaped layout, integrating a tall cabinetry bank, a sink station, and a functional island with a built-in cooktop. The tall cabinets provide vertical storage with integrated shelving for small appliances, finished in a soft beige. Below the counter, the base units combine dark grey panels with warm wood-grain doors, creating a balanced aesthetic. A sleek, white range hood sits above the cooking surface, while the sink area is positioned along the rear run. The design emphasises clean lines and handleless door profiles, suitable for contemporary interior schemes.

The download is a 140 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cabinetry, appliances, and worktops. Users should check the scale against their project floor plan before merging. The materials are set up for standard rendering pipelines, allowing for quick adjustments to the wood grain or surface reflectivity. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment map to achieve natural lighting reflections on the cabinet surfaces and worktop, ensuring the kitchen integrates seamlessly into a larger interior scene.

This kitchen unit is ideal for high-end residential projects, such as apartments or modern family homes, where space efficiency and minimalist design are required. It serves as a focal point in open-plan living areas, pairing well with contemporary dining furniture and neutral wall finishes. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of modular assembly when developing kitchen layouts for concept visualisations, real estate marketing materials, or detailed interior fit-out plans during the design development stage of a project.
