About this asset

This rustic coffee table 3ds Max model features a repurposed barrel base with a rectangular wood top and metal banding details. Constructed from a repurposed wooden barrel, this coffee table serves as a characterful focal point for casual living spaces. The design incorporates a thick, rectangular tabletop supported by the curved barrel structure, which is reinforced with dark metal bands. The wood displays a warm, natural grain, emphasizing its rustic aesthetic. Included in the scene are decorative props, specifically a marble-topped tray holding a bottle and glasses, alongside a small bowl of fruit. This combination of reclaimed-style timber and utilitarian metal accents provides a sturdy silhouette suitable for informal lounge settings.

The download is a 36.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into a scene, ensure the pivot point is positioned at the base for accurate placement on floor planes. Users should check the scale against standard living room dimensions, as barrel-based furniture can vary in size. Materials are assigned to discrete object IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain or metal finish reflections. If global illumination is being used, verify that the surface normals on the curved barrel sections are correctly aligned for consistent light interaction.
