About this asset

This modern straight kitchen unit 3ds Max model features a dark grey wood grain base cabinetry and a clean white wall-mounted storage set. The assembly comprises a long, linear run of base cabinets finished in a dark grey, vertical wood grain texture. Above, a matching set of white wall-mounted cabinets provides overhead storage, integrated with a slim-profile range hood. The base unit includes a flush-mounted stovetop with stainless steel cookware as decorative detail. The design prioritises a minimalist, handleless aesthetic, emphasising clean horizontal lines and a neutral colour palette. The proportions are balanced for a contemporary apartment or open-plan living space, offering a functional, streamlined solution for compact or galley-style kitchen layouts.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the base and wall units. Users can scale the linear run to fit specific wall lengths without distorting the texture mapping. The materials are set up for standard render engines, with individual objects grouped for efficient placement. Adjust the pivot points to align the unit against wall geometry or modify the material IDs to customise the wood finish or cabinet colours as required for specific project palettes.

This kitchen unit is suited for residential interior visualisations, particularly in high-rise apartments, minimalist homes, or modern renovation projects. It pairs well with stone worktops, integrated appliances, and contemporary lighting fixtures. Architects and interior designers often search for these linear configurations when detailing kitchen joinery or staging open-plan living areas. It is an effective asset for rapid prototyping of kitchen layouts during the schematic design phase, providing a clean, realistic base for further material customisation and detailed lighting studies.
