About this asset

This light blue linen PBR material set features a fine crosshatch weave and matte finish, supplied with comprehensive maps. This PBR material captures the organic, slightly irregular aesthetic of natural linen fabric. The surface is defined by a distinct crosshatch weave, providing a subtle tactile quality that remains matte under direct light. The light blue hue is consistent, offering a soft, versatile appearance suitable for various interior applications. The set includes albedo, ambient occlusion, displacement, roughness, and both DirectX and OpenGL normal maps, ensuring accurate physical rendering. The texture is designed for seamless tiling, maintaining its characteristic weave pattern across large surface areas without visible repetition or artifacts.

The download is a 171 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, metalness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Professionals can integrate this material into any standard PBR workflow by applying the provided maps to the relevant slots in their chosen render engine. The inclusion of packed ARM maps and pre-configured material files for supported software streamlines the setup process. Users should adjust the displacement map intensity according to the desired cloth thickness and scale the UV mapping to match the 271mm real-world sample size for optimal results in architectural visualisations.

Ideal for interior design projects requiring realistic textile assets, this linen material is well-suited for upholstery, drapery, and soft furnishings in residential or hospitality spaces. It pairs effectively with natural wood finishes and minimalist furniture designs to create a calm, tactile environment. Designers often use this texture to add depth to living room scenes, bedroom sets, or commercial lounge areas.
