About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features a dark brown bentwood frame and a woven rattan seat, providing a refined aesthetic for interiors. Defined by its fluid, curved frame, this bench showcases a dark brown wood construction paired with a classic cane webbing seat surface. The bentwood-style legs provide a soft, organic silhouette that balances the structural rigidity of the wood. A slim metal support rail reinforces the frame beneath the seat, ensuring stability while maintaining a lightweight visual profile. The seat insert is finished in a light natural rattan, creating a distinct contrast against the dark timber frame. This piece is presented with a decorative leather-bound book, highlighting its versatility as a functional accent for various interior settings.

The download is a 22.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient material assignment to the wood and rattan components. Users should verify that the rattan texture mapping is aligned correctly to maintain the scale of the weave. This asset is ideal for populating scenes where a lightweight, airy seating element is required, and its neutral palette integrates seamlessly with most contemporary interior lighting setups.

This bench is well-suited for residential entryways, bedrooms at the foot of a bed, or as a sophisticated accent piece in a walk-in wardrobe. Its compact yet elegant design also makes it an excellent choice for boutique hotel lobbies or waiting areas where space is at a premium. Professionals frequently search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for Japandi or contemporary-themed projects, often pairing it with minimalist consoles, floor lamps, or large-scale indoor plants to create a curated, welcoming atmosphere.
