Contemporary Blue Leather 2-Door Cabinet with Brass Hardware

This contemporary 2-door cabinet, modelled in SketchUp, features a blue leather-upholstered frame accented with ornate brass hardware. This storage unit features a clean-lined, rectangular silhouette finished in a deep blue leather upholstery with subtle grid-pattern stitching. The dual doors are fitted with prominent, stylized brass handles that draw inspiration from traditional oriental hardware, providing a striking metallic contrast. The cabinet is elevated on a slender, minimalist black metal frame that includes a simple horizontal cross-brace for structural support. Its proportions make it an ideal height for use as an entryway feature or a secondary storage piece in a refined living space, balancing modern geometry with tactile, high-end materials.

The download is a 17.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this cabinet into a SketchUp scene, place it as a component to maintain file efficiency and allow for easy swapping of hardware or textures. Use the native scale tool to adjust its footprint if necessary, ensuring the base sits flush on the floor plane. Apply high-resolution textures to the leather faces to capture the subtle grain and stitch details, while using metallic material settings for the brass handles to ensure they react accurately to your scene lighting and global illumination settings.

This cabinet is well-suited for high-end residential projects, such as an entryway, dining room, or bedroom suite. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, natural wood elements, or stone flooring, creating a sophisticated focal point. Professionals often search for this type of piece when designing luxury apartments, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary living rooms that require a blend of storage and decorative impact. It serves as an excellent companion to abstract wall art, potted bonsai, or other curated decorative objects in a scene.
