Contemporary Terrazzo and Wood Kitchen Island Dining Set

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a terrazzo-topped island table with a ribbed wooden base and four transparent chairs. This dining set consists of a semi-oval island-style table and four matching transparent chairs. The table features a white terrazzo surface with multi-coloured flecks, supported by a distinct cylindrical base finished in vertical timber slats. The form blends the functional aesthetic of a kitchen island with the social utility of a dining table. The included chairs are moulded from a clear, translucent material, providing a lightweight visual contrast to the solid, textured base of the table. The set is presented with a decorative floral centrepiece and a small bowl, completing the composition.

The download is a 42.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your master scene and check the scale against your floor plan. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the table and individual chairs. Apply your preferred materials to the terrazzo and wood components if customisation is required. Use standard physical camera settings and global illumination to capture the light interaction with the transparent chair surfaces and the subtle textures of the tabletop.

Ideal for open-plan residential interiors, this set serves as a stylish transition piece between kitchen and living areas. It fits well in modern apartments, boutique cafe spaces, or high-end hospitality lounges where a compact, multi-functional dining solution is required. Search for this piece when specifying breakfast nooks, kitchen-dining hybrids, or small-scale entertaining zones. It pairs effectively with minimalist interior schemes, providing a focal point that balances industrial-inspired terrazzo with warm wood tones and clean, contemporary furniture silhouettes.
