About this asset

This minimalist wall clock, modelled for SketchUp, features a slender black metal frame and an elongated vertical wall mount. Defined by its airy, skeleton-like construction, this clock consists of a large, thin circular outer ring supported by a vertical stem that extends upwards to a rectangular mounting bracket. The central mechanism is housed in a small, circular black hub from which two simple, tapered hands emerge. The entire piece is rendered in a uniform matte black finish, emphasising its clean, geometric silhouette. Its lightweight appearance makes it an unobtrusive addition to a wall, relying on negative space rather than solid volume to define its presence in a modern interior.

The download is a 98.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, use the component's insertion point to snap it directly to a vertical surface. The file is structured with clean geometry, allowing for easy placement and scaling without compromising the integrity of the thin metal elements. Users can apply custom materials to the frame if a different metallic finish is required, or simply utilise the default black to maintain its minimalist aesthetic. Ensure the clock is aligned correctly to the wall face to avoid clipping during rendering.

Ideal for contemporary residential living rooms, home offices, or modern hotel lobbies, this piece suits spaces that value refined, understated accessories. It pairs effectively with gallery walls or minimalist feature walls where the goal is to maintain clean lines. Designers often search for this type of linear clock when looking to add functional decor that does not clutter the visual field. It works well in projects ranging from high-end residential renovations to commercial office breakout areas, providing a touch of sophisticated, industrial-inspired detail.
