About this asset

This contemporary kitchen island set for 3ds Max features a marble-topped storage unit with an attached wood breakfast bar. This kitchen island assembly pairs a substantial storage unit with an extended cantilevered breakfast bar. The storage base is finished in a dark, heavily grained grey timber, contrasted by a light grey marble worktop and a metallic copper plinth. A thin copper reveal separates the countertop from the cabinet doors. The set includes two matching stools with brown leather-look seats and slender black metal frames. The composition is clean-lined and functional, designed to serve as both a prep station and a casual dining surface in open-plan spaces.

The download is a 90.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilising this model in 3ds Max involves merging the asset into your scene and adjusting the pivot points for placement. The materials are logically grouped, allowing for quick adjustments to the timber grain or marble veining textures. Ensure the scale is verified against your room dimensions upon import to maintain correct ergonomic proportions. Due to the high-contrast materials, checking your light bounce and reflections in the viewport is recommended to ensure the metallic accents read correctly within your interior lighting setup.

This island is suited for high-end residential kitchen designs, luxury apartment renovations, or boutique hospitality projects requiring a statement piece. It works effectively in open-plan layouts where the kitchen transitions into the living area, pairing well with contemporary pendant lighting and minimalist cabinetry. Search for this piece when looking for integrated dining solutions, compact kitchen islands, or modern breakfast bar sets that combine natural stone and timber textures for a sophisticated, layered interior aesthetic.
