Japanese Natural Wood and Metal Rectangular Dining Set

This 3ds Max dining set features a natural wood and metal rectangular table paired with three minimalist chairs for tea ceremonies. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a light-toned wood top supported by black metal open-frame trestle bases. Integrated storage shelving is visible within the table leg structure. The set includes three chairs: two curved-back wishbone-style chairs with woven seats and one straight-backed chair with a simple seat cushion. The tabletop is dressed with a woven runner, a ceramic tea service, and a slender vase with foliage. The aesthetic draws from traditional Japanese influence, balancing organic wood textures with clean industrial metal lines to create a functional, serene gathering space.

The download is a 29.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical hierarchy, allowing for easy selection of individual chairs or the table. The materials are mapped using standard coordinates, making them simple to adjust or replace if necessary. Users can merge the assembly into a scene as a single group or ungroup components to arrange them differently. Ensure the pivot point is at the floor level for quick placement on interior floor planes, and check that object scales are set to 100% before final rendering.

Ideal for residential dining rooms, hospitality projects, or tea houses, this set suits contemporary and minimalist interiors. It works well in projects requiring a calm, balanced atmosphere or as a feature piece in an open-plan living area. Designers often look for this type of furniture when specifying serene, natural-inspired dining zones. It pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and soft, ambient lighting setups.
