Contemporary Dark Wood Kitchen Scene with Curved Island

This contemporary SketchUp kitchen scene features dark wood cabinetry, a marble-topped curved island, and integrated appliances. This kitchen composition presents a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic defined by its rich dark wood veneer and contrasting stone surfaces. The layout includes a wall-mounted run with integrated cabinetry, a tall appliance housing unit for a refrigerator, and a prominent curved island. The island is finished with a striking black marble worktop, featuring a waterfall edge and decorative fluted glass panelling on the front face. A slim, reddish-brown timber trim detail runs throughout the base and upper cabinets, adding a refined accent. The sink and hob are integrated into the worktops, creating a clean, cohesive visual flow.

The download is an 8.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into a SketchUp project, import the model as a component to maintain layer organisation. The file includes distinct groupings for base cabinets, wall units, and the island, allowing for easy repositioning or resizing to fit specific floor plans. Users should apply their own high-resolution texture maps to the wood veneers and marble surfaces to enhance realism during rendering. Ensure that the component origin is set to a logical point, such as a corner, for efficient placement against walls.

This kitchen set is ideal for residential interior design visualisations, particularly for high-end apartment developments or luxury house projects.
