About this asset

This contemporary beige fabric curved modular sofa is a 3ds Max model featuring an organic silhouette and included decorative throw. Defined by a sweeping, crescent-like geometry, this contemporary sofa offers a soft, inviting aesthetic suitable for high-end residential or hospitality lounge areas. The piece is upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, accented by a contrasting brown piping detail that follows the curve of the seat. Included with the model are two decorative cushions—one circular tufted style and one spherical—along with a draped throw blanket. The low-profile backrest flows seamlessly into the seat, creating a continuous, ergonomic form that prioritises comfort and clean, modern lines throughout the design.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer naming to simplify scene management. Users can easily adjust the fabric shaders or swap textures using the standard material editor. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger interior scenes. When lighting the model, consider using a soft area light or an HDRI environment to highlight the subtle texture of the fabric and the depth of the piping details, ensuring realistic shadows across the curved surfaces.

This sofa is ideal for sophisticated living room layouts, hotel lobbies, or boutique reception areas where an organic, sculptural piece is required to soften a space. It pairs effectively with round coffee tables or minimalist area rugs to enhance the curved aesthetic. Professionals searching for feature seating, organic-shaped furniture, or modular lounge solutions will find this asset versatile for various interior design projects, particularly those focusing on contemporary or soft-modern styles in high-end residential and commercial developments.
