Contemporary Dark Wood Kitchen Island with Seating Set

This contemporary SketchUp model features a long dark wood kitchen island paired with three diverse dining chairs in a set. The island consists of a minimalist rectangular work surface finished in a deep walnut-brown wood veneer, supported by a solid side panel and a matching storage block with integrated drawers. It extends into a functional dining overhang, creating a seamless transition between food preparation and casual seating. The included chair set is eclectic, featuring two cantilevered-style chairs with rattan backrests and leather seats, alongside a single dark-framed chair with a woven leather seat. Decorative accessories, including a floral arrangement and a small bowl, are included to complete the composition of this functional kitchen assembly.

The download is a 160 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and alignment against walls or as a freestanding central feature. Users should ensure the axes are correctly oriented to the floor plane when importing. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily scaled or replaced to match specific project palettes. The inclusion of seating as separate entities permits individual positioning or substitution to suit varied interior layouts, while the storage components remain static for clean, efficient model management.
