About this asset

This modern charcoal metal stacked washer and dryer unit is a SketchUp model featuring a compact, space-saving vertical design. This stacked laundry unit presents a minimalist, modern aesthetic with a uniform charcoal finish across both the washing machine and the dryer. The design features a front-loading configuration with circular glass portholes and integrated control dials positioned at the top of each unit. The clean, rectangular geometry allows for a seamless vertical installation, optimising floor space in tight utility areas. The construction suggests a durable metal casing with high-contrast detailing around the door frames and control interface, providing a professional and sleek appearance suitable for contemporary interior environments.

In SketchUp, this asset is typically handled as a single component or group. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match standard appliance dimensions before placement in a utility room or kitchen layout. Materials can be adjusted via the materials tray to fine-tune the metallic finish or reflectivity. Because the units are stacked, it is advisable to check the alignment on the vertical axis to ensure the geometry sits flush against the wall or within a cabinetry housing.

Ideal for residential utility rooms, small apartment kitchens, or laundry closets, this unit is a practical solution for space-conscious floor plans. It pairs well with custom cabinetry, shelving units, and standard laundry room fixtures. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of appliance model when detailing multi-family housing projects or refurbishing compact living spaces. It functions effectively as a focal point in technical drawings or high-end interior visualisations where a clean, organised laundry area is required.
