About this asset

This Indochine 3ds Max model features a dark wood four-door sideboard styled with a large red portrait artwork and a potted plant. This console unit features a deep walnut-toned finish with black-panelled door fronts accented by delicate gold-toned metal detailing. The piece is structured with four cupboard doors below an open horizontal storage shelf, providing a balanced aesthetic. Included in this set is a large, framed portrait painting set against a vibrant red background, alongside a potted banana-leaf style plant in a dark ceramic vessel. Smaller decorative accessories, including a sculptural object and candle holders, are arranged on the top surface, creating a cohesive vignette suitable for high-end interior compositions.

The download is an 11 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation. Users can merge the model into their scene, adjusting the pivot point to align the sideboard against wall surfaces. The materials are mapped using standard coordinates, allowing for quick adjustments to wood grain or metal reflectivity. The plant and decorative objects are grouped separately from the main cabinet, enabling designers to reposition or remove specific elements to suit the scale and requirements of their interior visualisation project.

This sideboard arrangement is ideal for formal living areas, entryways, or luxury hotel lobbies where a touch of Indochine or oriental-inspired design is required. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary interiors that benefit from a strong focal point. Professionals often search for this type of curated decor set when styling residential hallways or boutique restaurant interiors. The piece functions effectively as a standalone console or as part of a larger, layered room configuration in high-end design schemes.
