Traditional Vietnamese Living Room Tet Scene

This 3ds Max scene features a traditional Vietnamese living room interior, complete with carved wooden furniture and festive holiday decor. The scene captures a warm, culturally specific living space defined by rich, dark-stained timber furniture, including a pair of ornate carved chairs and a matching low-profile coffee table. A substantial sideboard sits against the back wall, providing a surface for decorative vases and a vintage-style gramophone. The room is dressed for the Lunar New Year with floral arrangements, potted citrus, and wall-mounted calligraphy art. The floor is finished with geometric patterned tiles, while heavy, draped curtains frame the window, contributing to the intimate, lived-in atmosphere. The entire arrangement is fully assembled for immediate use.

The download is a 361 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this scene directly into 3ds Max projects by merging the file into an existing master scene. The assets are organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection or isolation of individual furniture pieces or decor elements. Users should check the material editor for texture paths upon loading to ensure all wood grain and fabric patterns are correctly mapped. The lighting setup is pre-configured to simulate soft, directional sunlight, which can be adjusted via light intensity settings or by swapping the HDRI map.
