Modern Walnut and Black Leather Open-Plan Living Room Scene

This modern open-plan living room SketchUp scene features rich walnut timber finishes, black leather upholstery, and marble flooring. Designed with a sophisticated, cohesive material palette, this interior scene centres on a modular sofa arrangement upholstered in black leather set against a dark walnut timber frame. The space is anchored by a matching low-profile coffee table with a glass top. Architectural details include vertical timber slat wall panels, a marble-clad feature wall behind the television, and an integrated open shelving unit that acts as a room divider. Recessed ceiling coving with hidden lighting and a central ceiling fan complete the refined, contemporary aesthetic of the open-plan residential living area.

The download is a 500 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a fully assembled SketchUp environment, this model is structured for immediate placement of cameras to establish interior perspectives. Users can easily adjust the lighting parameters or replace the existing textures with custom materials to suit specific project requirements. The scene is organised into logical layers, allowing for the isolation of furniture components or architectural elements. By utilising standard component grouping, the assets within the room can be extracted for use in other projects or modified to fit varying floor plan layouts.

This high-fidelity scene is ideal for residential architectural visualisations, particularly for luxury apartment or villa projects requiring a polished, ready-to-render interior. It serves as a benchmark for contemporary living room design, pairing effectively with minimalist decor and warm ambient lighting schemes. Professionals searching for high-end lounge layouts, open-plan living configurations, or detailed timber millwork will find this asset fits seamlessly into design presentations, client mood boards, or final rendering workflows for high-end residential developments and luxury home staging.
