Modern Grey and Yellow Children Bedroom Scene

This modern children bedroom SketchUp scene features a custom loft bed with integrated storage and a dedicated study area. Centred around a bespoke loft bed unit, this bedroom composition balances functional storage with a playful aesthetic. The structure features a grey finish with vibrant yellow accents on the safety rail and ladder edge. Below the elevated sleeping platform, a compact study nook includes a desk surface and two yellow chairs. A staircase with integrated drawer storage leads to the upper bunk. The room is finished with neutral tones, providing a clean, contemporary backdrop. Lighting is handled through natural daylight filtering through white blinds, creating a soft, inviting atmosphere suitable for a child's living space.

The download is a 230 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this SketchUp scene into a project, import the file into your master model or use it as a reference for spatial planning. The geometry is organised into groups, allowing for easy adjustment of the bed unit or study components. Apply your own textures or refine existing material maps to match specific project requirements. Ensure the model origin is set correctly relative to your floor level, and adjust the lighting settings to suit your desired time of day or render output.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this bedroom layout works well for small-footprint apartments or shared children's rooms where space efficiency is critical. The design pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and soft textiles to enhance the modern, organised feel. Professionals can use this as a base for custom joinery documentation or as a quick-start asset for client presentations. It is a versatile solution for architects and interior designers working on family-oriented housing developments or renovation projects seeking a functional, space-saving bedroom configuration.
