About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining chair features a fully upholstered beige fabric finish and a sculptural, continuous base design. This dining chair presents a minimalist, sculptural aesthetic, defined by its continuous upholstered form. The backrest is rounded and soft, transitioning seamlessly into a flat, comfortable seat cushion. The base consists of two solid, curved side panels that serve as both legs and support, creating a monolithic profile. The entire piece is wrapped in a textured, neutral-toned beige fabric, providing a tactile, cohesive look. Its soft geometry and lack of exposed hardware make it a versatile choice for modern interiors, balancing comfort with a clean, architectural silhouette suitable for various contemporary dining settings.

In 3ds Max, this chair is structured as a single, clean mesh object, ideal for quick scene population. The UV mapping is optimized for the fabric texture, allowing for easy material adjustments or swaps within the slate material editor. Users can apply standard modifiers to adjust the scale or subdivision as required. When populating a dining room, ensure the pivot point is aligned to the floor plane for seamless grouping with dining tables or floor-level adjustments in your interior scenes.

This chair is well-suited for high-end residential dining rooms, boutique hotel breakfast areas, or modern office breakout spaces. Its neutral colour and soft lines allow it to pair effectively with timber, glass, or stone dining tables. Designers often specify this style for projects requiring a blend of comfort and sculptural interest, such as minimalist apartments or contemporary hospitality venues.
