Luxury Open-Plan Living Room and Dining Scene

This luxury open-plan living room and dining scene for 3ds Max features a sophisticated palette of grey fabric, marble, and dark wood finishes. This high-end interior scene defines a contemporary open-plan living and dining area, characterised by a double-height volume and a mezzanine level. The living space is anchored by a large, modular grey fabric sectional sofa and a statement circular black marble coffee table. Dark timber wall panelling and integrated lighting create a moody, refined atmosphere. A dramatic multi-pendant chandelier hangs from the upper ceiling, while the dining area in the background features a round table and minimalist upholstered chairs. The floor is finished in polished grey-veined marble, extending visual continuity across the entire open-plan layout.

The download is a 244 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with V-Ray materials. Open it in 3ds Max with V-Ray installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Utilise this pre-configured 3ds Max scene as a foundational starting point for high-end residential visualisation projects. The file includes established lighting setups, camera angles, and material assignments, allowing for rapid iteration. Designers can easily swap out individual assets, adjust the exposure or colour temperature of the lights, and modify textures to suit specific project requirements. Ensure all proxy files and texture paths are re-linked upon opening to maintain the integrity of the scene's complex lighting and material layers.
