Japanese Tea Room Interior Scene – Variant 12

This Japanese tea room interior scene is a comprehensive SketchUp model featuring low-profile timber furniture and marble. Defined by a serene, low-profile aesthetic, this interior scene centres on a large, square, light-timber tea table surrounded by matching curved-back floor chairs with upholstered cushions. The focal wall features a prominent vertically-slatted timber cladding surrounding a central dark-veined marble slab, creating a sophisticated textured backdrop for the television. To the right, floor-to-ceiling timber shelving provides integrated storage and display space. The composition is balanced by delicate orchid arrangements on minimalist pedestals, while a semi-transparent screen partition separates the main seating area from an adjacent space, maintaining a sense of airy, traditional openness.

The download is a 277 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp model as a ready-to-render environment by adjusting the camera position and light settings to suit specific project requirements. The file is structured to allow for easy manipulation of individual furniture assets, enabling designers to swap out textures or scale elements within the existing hierarchy. Users should verify that all material maps are correctly linked upon import and may benefit from applying global illumination settings to enhance the natural light quality inherent in the scene's layout.
