Japandi Living Room Scene with Herringbone Flooring

This Japandi living room scene for SketchUp features a curated open-plan layout with herringbone wood floors and arched architectural details. Defined by a serene, light-filled aesthetic, this interior scene balances organic textures with clean, architectural lines. The space features a low-profile sofa integrated with timber shelving, a circular jute rug, and a minimalist television console. A prominent arched wall opening connects the living area to a bright, plant-filled terrace, enhancing the indoor-outdoor flow. The ceiling is articulated with subtle vaulted panels, while the walls incorporate soft, curved plaster transitions. Natural oak tones dominate the material palette, complemented by neutral fabric upholstery, woven baskets, and lush indoor greenery that anchors the tropical-inspired atmosphere.

The download is a 310 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can utilise this SketchUp scene as a foundational environment for interior visualisations. The file is structured to allow for easy manipulation of individual components, including the furniture arrangement and lighting setup. Users should check the layer organisation upon import to manage geometry and vegetation proxies efficiently. Textures are pre-applied to the primary surfaces, but scaling and UV mapping may require adjustment depending on the specific project requirements and the desired level of realism for final render outputs.
