Contemporary Red and Black Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room SketchUp scene features a bold red and black palette, complete with a modular sectional sofa. Defined by a moody, high-contrast aesthetic, this living room scene centres on a deep black velvet sectional sofa set against a striking red wall. The space incorporates a sophisticated material mix, including dark stained wood flooring, black marble wall cladding, and a sleek coffee table with a red glass base. A floor-to-ceiling metal shelving unit provides structural verticality, while integrated LED strip lighting softens the transition between the dark timber panelling and the red backdrop. Every element, from the textured grey area rug to the curated decor objects, is positioned to create a cohesive, high-end residential atmosphere.

The download is a 253 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professional users can import this SketchUp scene to establish a base for high-end residential visualisations. The model is organised with logical layering, allowing for the isolation of furniture components or lighting elements for customisation. Materials are mapped for immediate rendering compatibility, though users may wish to adjust texture scaling or reflection parameters depending on their specific render engine settings. The camera is pre-positioned to capture the primary focal points, making it an efficient starting point for rapid interior design iterations.
