Contemporary Open-Plan Living Room and Kitchen Scene in Red

This contemporary open-plan living room and kitchen SketchUp model features a striking black stone feature wall and wood-grain island. The scene presents a sophisticated open-plan layout balancing raw textures and refined lines. A central kitchen island acts as a focal point, finished with a dramatic black-stained wood veneer grain that contrasts against the light oak flooring. In the background, a large-scale black stone feature wall provides depth, complemented by integrated linear shelving and ambient lighting. The living area is furnished with a neutral-toned sofa and bold red dining chairs, creating a distinct colour palette. The ceiling features a textured concrete finish, while a suspended open-frame shelving unit adds vertical interest above the kitchen workspace.

The download is a 511 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a comprehensive SketchUp scene, this file is structured for immediate architectural visualisation. Users can leverage the pre-configured camera angles to establish views for interior renders, while the organised layer structure allows for easy toggling of furniture and lighting elements. Materials are mapped for immediate use, though professionals may choose to swap textures or adjust the lighting intensity within their preferred render engine to match specific project requirements. The model serves as a robust base for rapid interior design development.
