Contemporary Blue Velvet Wood Armchair and Side Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair and side table set features a blue velvet upholstered seat framed in a warm-toned timber structure. This set includes a single armchair and a matching circular side table. The armchair showcases a clean, contemporary silhouette with a high, slightly angled backrest and integrated armrests. It is finished in a deep blue velvet fabric, complemented by a slim, tapered timber frame that provides structural support. Beside it, a compact side table features a circular wooden top supported by a delicate, black-finished metal wire base. The proportions are balanced for residential lounge areas, offering a refined aesthetic that combines soft textile textures with the organic warmth of wood and minimalist metal elements.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation. Users can apply custom fabric textures to the upholstery or adjust the wood grain mapping as required for specific project finishes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within a scene. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of the furniture for accurate positioning on floor planes. Lighting setup should account for the velvet material's light-absorbing properties to achieve realistic highlights and soft shadows.
