Contemporary Open-Plan Dining and Kitchen Scene

This contemporary open-plan dining and kitchen scene for 3ds Max features a sophisticated material palette of marble and wood. This high-end interior composition centres on a dining zone anchored by a sculptural white upholstered chair and a warm timber-framed armchair. A striking marble-clad island acts as a functional divider, contrasting against a dark, minimalist cabinetry wall equipped with integrated wine storage. The floor is finished in large-format tiles, while a layered rug defines the seating area. Overhead, a tiered pendant light provides a focal point, complemented by linear wall panelling and soft, neutral wall finishes that enhance the overall sense of depth and curated luxury within the space.

The download is a 346 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a complete 3ds Max scene, this asset is best utilised as a base for architectural visualisation projects. Professionals should inspect the layer structure to manage visibility of individual furniture elements, lighting rigs, and camera views. Materials are pre-assigned and mapped, allowing for adjustments to texture tiling or reflection glossiness within the material editor. The scene is scaled for standard residential heights, making it ready for immediate integration into larger project files via merging or referencing workflows.

Ideal for residential, high-end apartment, or boutique hotel projects, this scene serves as a foundation for interior design presentations. It is suited for showcasing open-plan living concepts where kitchen and dining functions overlap. Designers can use this setup to study light interaction on marble surfaces, test furniture arrangements, or create hero shots for marketing brochures. It pairs well with modern minimalist decor and high-end cabinetry, meeting the requirements for detailed interior visualisation in both conceptual and final rendering phases.
