Contemporary Grey Kitchen and Living Room Interior Scene

This contemporary open-plan interior scene for 3ds Max features a sophisticated kitchen, dining area, and living room setup. Showcasing a cohesive open-plan layout, this scene integrates a kitchen with charcoal-grey shaker cabinetry and a white marble countertop. The dining space connects seamlessly, featuring a stone-topped table surrounded by upholstered grey chairs. A linear pendant light anchors the dining zone, while the living area beyond includes a low-profile grey sofa and wall-mounted decorative panels. Materials are balanced between the cool tones of the stone and grey fabric, and the warmth of natural wood accents on vertical wall surfaces. The composition is clean, functional, and tailored for a modern residential aesthetic.

The download is a 268 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this scene is structured for immediate integration into architectural projects. Users can easily adjust the camera angles to frame specific zones or modify the lighting setup to suit daylight or evening scenarios. Materials and textures are mapped across the models, allowing for quick adjustments to surface finishes or colour palettes. The objects are grouped logically, enabling users to isolate individual furniture pieces or kitchen components for use in other project files without re-importing the entire environment.

Ideal for residential visualisation projects, this scene serves as a foundation for apartment or townhouse interior presentations. It is particularly useful for architects and designers needing to demonstrate open-plan living concepts to clients during the concept or design development stages. The neutral palette and contemporary furniture style pair well with various flooring types and wall finishes. Professionals can search for this asset when requiring complete, pre-composed living spaces, kitchen layouts, or dining room arrangements for high-quality architectural renders.
