Contemporary Grey Fabric Living Room Scene – Variant 12

This contemporary living room scene for 3ds Max features a sophisticated grey fabric sofa, herringbone flooring, and a bespoke glass coffee table. This high-end living room interior presents a balanced, contemporary aesthetic defined by a neutral, earthy colour palette. The central composition includes a low-profile, modular grey fabric sofa paired with a matching ottoman and a sleek, multi-tiered glass coffee table. The backdrop incorporates vertical timber paneling and a feature wine display wall, adding depth and texture. A large, dark grey area rug anchors the seating arrangement, resting on warm-toned herringbone timber flooring. Overhead, a statement sculptural chandelier provides a focal point, while sheer curtains soften the natural light entering from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The download is a 257 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a fully assembled scene, this 3ds Max file is structured for immediate integration into architectural visualisations. Users can easily adjust camera angles to frame specific vignettes or modify individual material properties within the material editor to match project-specific requirements. The assets are organised logically, allowing for the selective isolation of furniture pieces or lighting elements. Best practice involves checking the light setup and exposure settings upon opening to ensure compatibility with your preferred render engine's global illumination and tone mapping parameters.
