Contemporary Grey and Tan Living Room Scene

A luxury contemporary living room scene in SketchUp, featuring a modular sectional sofa against a backlit marble feature wall. This sophisticated living room scene centres on a large, tufted modular sectional sofa upholstered in light grey and tan fabric. The focal point is a floor-to-ceiling feature wall composed of grey panelling, vertical slats, and a central backlit marble section, accented by a bold brass strip. A low-profile marble coffee table sits atop a textured area rug. The space is illuminated by integrated ceiling coves and a modern sculptural pendant fixture. A staircase with a glass balustrade and timber handrail frames the left side, adding architectural depth to the composition.

The download is a 284 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can integrate this SketchUp scene into existing architectural projects by importing the file as a component or using it as a base for custom layouts. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection and modification of individual furniture pieces or lighting elements. Designers should verify material mappings and adjust light intensity within their preferred render engine to match the specific project environment, ensuring textures are correctly scaled and aligned with the architectural features of the room.

Ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lobbies, and luxury show homes, this scene provides a ready-to-render environment for visualising open-plan living areas. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary interior schemes, serving as a professional starting point for client presentations and marketing collateral. Professionals looking for a polished, high-quality aesthetic often use such assets to quickly establish the mood and material palette in early-stage design development, particularly when communicating refined, modern interior concepts to stakeholders or private clients.
