Art Deco Black and Red Living Room Scene

This Art Deco living room scene for SketchUp features a dramatic black and red palette with velvet upholstery and ornate ceiling detailing. Defined by a bold, monochromatic checkerboard floor in black and white marble, this interior scene presents a formal, symmetrical living room arrangement. The focal point is a pair of vibrant red, fluted-back armchairs facing a matching red velvet sofa, all centered around a glass-topped coffee table. Flanking the main seating area are white tufted sofas placed against the walls, creating a refined, theatrical atmosphere. Ornate ceiling roses and intricate crown moulding provide a classic architectural backdrop, while dual crystal chandeliers add a layer of opulent texture to the high-contrast space.

The download is a 319 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp scene into a larger project, utilise the existing layer structure to toggle individual furniture pieces or lighting elements for improved performance. The model is scaled for architectural accuracy, allowing for direct camera placement and lighting adjustments. Users can easily swap textures for the wall panelling or floor surfaces to suit specific project requirements. Ensure all geometry is properly grouped to maintain scene organisation, and consider using a dedicated render plugin to fully capture the reflective properties of the polished flooring.
