About this asset

This 3ds Max decorative set features a minimalist circular black metal wall shelf, a stone ledge, and two small zen-inspired accessories. The assembly comprises a slender, circular black metal frame that acts as a wall-mounted display unit. A natural-edged, irregular stone slab serves as the horizontal shelf, providing a grounding, organic contrast to the precision of the metal hoop. Accompanying the unit are two distinct decorative elements: a small, smooth figurine depicting a person in a meditative pose and a clear glass cylinder vase holding a delicate, bare-branched botanical sprig. The composition relies on the interplay between hard, industrial materials and soft, natural forms to create a balanced, contemplative aesthetic.

The download is a 19.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can integrate this model into 3ds Max scenes by merging the file and adjusting the pivot point to the rear of the circular frame for easy wall placement. The geometry is grouped for efficient scaling and positioning. Materials are mapped with standard shaders; ensure the glass vase utilizes appropriate refraction and reflection settings for realistic transparency. Lighting should be soft and diffuse to complement the zen character of the set, ideally using a subtle rim light to highlight the metal frame edges.

Ideal for residential interior design, this set functions as a focal point in meditation rooms, minimalist bedrooms, or quiet study areas. It pairs well with neutral wall finishes, raw plaster, or timber panelling, enhancing the serene atmosphere of modern and japanese-inspired interiors. The piece is also suitable for hotel spa lobbies or wellness-focused retail environments where a calming visual anchor is required. Designers searching for zen wall decor or modern stone-and-metal shelving will find this asset adds immediate texture to rendered spaces.
