About this asset

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a yellow fabric 2-seater sofa, a glass coffee table, and a pendant light. This curated interior scene comprises a compact 2-seater sofa upholstered in a vibrant yellow fabric, paired with a minimalist circular coffee table featuring a glass top and slender black metal legs. A geometric pattern rug sits beneath the arrangement, providing a neutral foundation. Above, a multi-arm sputnik-style chandelier with clear globes completes the composition. The sofa exhibits clean, modern lines with slim arms and a low profile, offering a balanced aesthetic suitable for contemporary design schemes. Every element is scaled for typical residential lounge areas, ensuring coherent proportions across the set.

The download is a 17.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into a SketchUp project, place the group as a single component or explode it to manage individual assets. Use the native layer or tag system to isolate the lighting, furniture, and rug for better visibility control. Ensure the model is scaled appropriately to the project floor plan before applying textures. For high-quality visual output, adjust the material properties on the glass and fabric surfaces to reflect project-specific lighting conditions and rendering settings.

This furniture arrangement is suited for residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, or boutique hotel lounge areas. It works well in early-stage concept modelling or final presentation renders where a pop of colour is required. Designers often search for this type of set when styling open-plan spaces, small studios, or reading nooks. It pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and minimalist decor, providing a functional and visually striking focal point for any interior project requiring a contemporary aesthetic.
