About this asset

This contemporary charcoal fabric modular sofa for 3ds Max features a low-profile design with an integrated chaise and cushions. Defined by its low-slung, rectilinear silhouette, this modular sofa features a deep-seat configuration with an integrated chaise section on the left. The upholstery is a textured charcoal fabric, providing a clean, minimalist aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The frame is supported by low-profile feet, keeping the form grounded. Included are several scatter cushions in a mix of solid grey, white, and subtle striped patterns, which add depth to the monochromatic palette. The cushions are soft-edged, balancing the structured geometry of the sofa base and providing a comfortable, relaxed look for various lounge settings.

The download is a 33.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically managed as a single geometry object or grouped elements. Users should verify pivot points to ensure correct placement on floor planes. Given the fabric texture, adjusting the tiling and bump map intensity is recommended to maintain scale accuracy in close-up renders. The scatter cushions are provided as separate objects, allowing for custom arrangement or removal depending on the desired level of detail or clutter within the scene composition.

This sofa serves as an essential anchor for living room layouts, open-plan apartments, and high-end hotel lobby seating areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables and neutral area rugs to create a cohesive lounge arrangement. Designers searching for modular seating, deep-seat sofas, or contemporary living room furniture will find this piece versatile for both residential projects and commercial hospitality fit-outs. It is particularly effective in spaces requiring a balanced, sophisticated aesthetic that does not overwhelm the room's architectural features.
