About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a double-layer curtain set with a white sheer and charcoal opaque fabric for versatile shading. This window treatment set consists of two distinct layers, combining a lightweight, semi-transparent white sheer with a heavier, opaque charcoal-coloured curtain. Both panels feature a uniform, vertical pleated heading that hangs cleanly from a concealed track or rod system. The fabric texture appears soft and matte, providing a balanced contrast between the airy, light-filtering quality of the sheer and the substantial, light-blocking density of the charcoal panel. The proportions are designed for floor-to-ceiling installation, creating a sleek, layered aesthetic suitable for modern interior schemes requiring functional light control and privacy.

Professionals should check the pivot points for correct placement against wall surfaces or window frames. The geometry is pre-folded, so users can easily scale the width to fit project-specific window spans while maintaining the integrity of the pleats. Applying custom fabric shaders or adjusting the opacity of the sheer layer allows for precise light transmission control during final rendering, ensuring the materials react appropriately to scene lighting conditions.

This curtain set is ideal for residential master bedrooms, living areas, or high-end hospitality suites where a layered window treatment is required. The neutral colour palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into minimalist, contemporary, or transitional interior designs. Designers often use these assets to add depth to window recesses, pairing them with architectural lighting or recessed ceiling pockets.
