About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a white orchid potted plant in a ribbed black ceramic vase, suitable for interior design visualisations. The model represents a Phalaenopsis orchid arrangement, characterised by multiple white blossoms with delicate yellow-tinted centres. The plant features broad, fleshy green leaves at the base, supported by slender stems held upright by thin gold-toned stakes. It is housed in a modern, cylindrical ceramic pot with a distinctive horizontal ribbed texture and a glossy black finish. The proportions are balanced, capturing the natural cascading habit of the orchid sprays. The assets are organised to allow for precise placement of the foliage and stems within a 3D environment for realistic presentation.

The download is a 16.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should ensure the texture paths for the ceramic finish and leaf materials are correctly linked upon loading. The model is scaled for standard interior use; however, it can be adjusted to fit specific console tables or sideboards. For optimal rendering, apply standard material modifiers and ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the vase for easy positioning on surfaces within your project scene.

This botanical asset is ideal for styling residential interiors, luxury hotel lobbies, and professional office reception areas. It serves as an effective focal point on coffee tables, console units, or bedside tables, providing a touch of organic texture to contemporary and minimalist schemes. Architects and interior designers frequently use this type of plant model to add life to static renderings during the final stages of a project, pairing it with neutral palettes or modern furniture to enhance the overall atmosphere of the room.
