Abstract Geometric Patterned Rug Set of Six

This SketchUp model provides a set of six modern abstract geometric rugs, featuring minimalist compositions in various accent colours. This collection consists of six rectangular area rugs, each defined by a clean, minimalist aesthetic inspired by abstract art. The designs utilise a neutral base—ranging from crisp white to warm beige and soft grey—accentuated by bold, asymmetric graphic lines and solid rectangular blocks in blue, olive green, mustard yellow, and charcoal. The composition of each piece varies, creating a diverse set that maintains a cohesive visual language. These rugs are modelled as flat, low-profile elements suitable for floor applications, providing a clean and contemporary foundation for various interior design schemes.

The download is a 45.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs are best utilised as flat components placed directly onto the floor geometry. Because they are modelled as thin, single-surface objects, they are easily scalable to fit specific room dimensions without distorting the pattern proportions. Users should ensure the rugs are assigned to a dedicated floor-finish layer to maintain project organisation. Applying a light displacement map or a soft texture bump can enhance the realism of the fabric surface when rendered, ensuring the graphics appear integrated into the floor plane.
