About this asset

White horizontal Venetian blinds featuring a clean dual-panel design, modelled in 3ds Max for precise light control in architectural interiors. These Venetian blinds feature a standard horizontal slat configuration, finished in a crisp white tone that integrates seamlessly into neutral interior schemes. The assembly includes a slim, durable metal headrail housing the retraction mechanism and a matching bottom rail for weight and stability. Thin vertical cords provide the lifting function, suspended from the top casing. The slat geometry is uniform, designed to provide consistent light diffusion and privacy. This set presents two distinct panels, which allows for versatile placement across various window widths or as individual units within a larger facade or partition wall.

The download is a 2.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this asset is typically managed as a grouped object or individual components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the top headrail for easy placement against window frames or recessed ceiling pockets. Scaling should be applied uniformly to maintain the slat aspect ratio. The material maps for the slats and hardware can be adjusted to control reflection and opacity, ensuring the blinds interact appropriately with interior lighting setups and scene-specific HDRI environments.

Ideal for professional office environments, contemporary residential living spaces, and retail showroom facades, these blinds offer a practical solution for managing glare and solar gain. They pair effectively with minimalist glazing systems and modern window frames. Architects and interior designers frequently specify this style of window treatment for home-office setups, meeting rooms, and clinical environments where clean lines and functional light modulation are required. Search terms such as horizontal window blinds, office shading, and adjustable slat shades will yield similar practical results.
