About this asset

This white fabric pleated window curtain model for SketchUp features a clean, uniform vertical drape suitable for minimalist interiors. These floor-length curtains are rendered with a consistent, vertical pleated design, creating a structured aesthetic that works well in contemporary or minimalist architectural projects. The fabric appears as a light, neutral white, offering a soft diffusion of light when applied in a scene. The geometry captures the natural folds and volume of hanging textile, providing a realistic sense of weight and depth without excessive complexity. This asset consists of a single pair of curtains, designed to be easily scaled or adjusted to fit various window widths and ceiling heights in your 3D models.

The download is a 7.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by placing it as a component within your window assembly. You can adjust the width by scaling the object horizontally, though care should be taken to maintain the pleat proportions. Apply your preferred fabric textures or materials to the geometry to match your specific interior design scheme. The model is lightweight, ensuring it does not unnecessarily increase file size when integrated into larger residential or hospitality projects, allowing for smooth navigation and efficient rendering workflows.

Ideal for residential bedrooms, living rooms, and hotel suites, these curtains provide a versatile solution for adding realism to interior visualisations. They pair effectively with modern window frames and light-filled spaces where a clean, neutral aesthetic is required. Architects and designers can use them during the schematic or development stages to demonstrate window treatments and privacy solutions.
