About this asset

This contemporary white fabric curtain panel for SketchUp features organic vertical pleats, providing a soft, realistic drape for interior visualisations. This single curtain panel is defined by its clean, minimalist aesthetic and fluid, naturalistic drapery. The geometry captures dense, vertical folds that create subtle light and shadow play, suggesting a lightweight, semi-opaque fabric suitable for residential or hotel environments. The panel is presented as a singular, static element with a straight header, allowing for flexible placement across various window widths. Its proportions are neutral, designed to be scaled or repeated to achieve fuller, gathered window treatments. The form is clean, focusing on the realistic fall of the textile rather than specific hardware or mounting mechanisms.

The download is a 983 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best utilised by importing the file as a nested group. Users can easily scale the height and width to match specific window apertures. Given the geometry, it is recommended to apply a soft, semi-transparent material or a fabric texture with a slight bump map to enhance the depth of the folds. The panel can be mirrored or duplicated to create a complete set of curtains for larger openings or sliding glass doors.

These curtains are essential for adding softness and realism to living room, bedroom, and hotel suite visualisations. They pair effectively with modern glazing systems, floor-to-ceiling windows, or minimalist interior schemes where a clean, uncluttered window treatment is required. Professionals frequently search for these assets when staging residential projects, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end apartment interiors. By providing a sense of scale and domestic comfort, this model helps bridge the gap between architectural structure and lived-in, habitable interior spaces in final render outputs.
