White Fabric Modular Low-Profile Sofa with Chaise

This contemporary modular sofa in white fabric, available as a 3ds Max model, features a low-profile silhouette and a deep chaise. Defined by a relaxed, low-profile aesthetic, this modular sofa consists of three distinct segments including a chaise longue section. The upholstery is a neutral white fabric, accented by visible piping along the seams. A single grey rectangular scatter cushion provides contrast against the expansive, plush seat cushions. The design prioritises comfort with a deep, sink-in seating depth and a minimalist frame, stripping away unnecessary ornamentation to emphasize the soft, voluminous forms of the seating blocks. The low, boxy backrest and armrests maintain a clean, horizontal line across the entire assembly, suitable for modern open-plan living spaces.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward placement within a scene. Users should check the pivot point upon merging to ensure easy alignment with floor planes. The fabric textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for adjustments to tiling or colour maps within the material editor. Given the soft, organic wrinkles on the cushions, it is recommended to maintain the existing mesh density to preserve the realistic silhouette during rendering, while managing scene complexity by grouping the modular components as a single asset.
