About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a king-size bed with a distinct brown channel-tufted upholstered headboard and textile bedding. Defined by its generous proportions, this king-size bed centres on a tall, rectangular headboard featuring vertical channel tufting. The headboard is finished in a deep brown fabric, providing a structured contrast to the softer elements of the piece. The bed includes a complete bedding set consisting of off-white pillows, a matching duvet, and a quilted brown throw blanket that adds textural depth. The low-profile frame is fully upholstered, creating a cohesive, monolithic aesthetic suitable for high-end residential or hotel suites. Its clean lines and minimalist silhouette ensure it pairs well with various modern interior styles.

The download is a 46.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and check that the pivot point is set to the floor level for easy placement. The geometry is organised by material, allowing for quick adjustments to fabric shaders or colour maps to match specific project requirements. Ensure the model is scaled correctly against your room dimensions before applying any final lighting setups or secondary textures. Using an HDRI environment map will help capture the subtle highlights on the fabric surfaces effectively.

Ideal for master bedroom visualisations, this bed serves as a primary focal point in residential design projects. It fits seamlessly into contemporary or boutique hotel room layouts, working well alongside timber bedside tables or minimalist pendant lighting. Architects and interior designers might search for this asset when specifying comfortable, modern sleeping solutions for high-end apartment developments or luxury hospitality suites. Its neutral, sophisticated colour palette ensures it remains versatile across various interior design schemes, from warm, organic spaces to more structured, urban environments.
